HSDM can be used for other projects with little modification.
Login Instructions
- If you are the first time user (PIA), use your PRN as user id and use the default password as password to login into the HSDM.
- If your user id has been created by the PIA administrator, use your mapped email address as user id and the password sent through account activation mail on the mapped email address.

If you are not able to log-in,
- Click on "Forgot your password? Click here and we will help you.", and you will be directed to a "Forgot Password" page.
- Input your user id, and submit.
- The new activation link will be sent on your registered email address.
- Go to your mailbox and click on activation link, a page for changing your password will open. change your password.
- Alternatively, you can use default password after submitting the request and you will be asked to change the password.

If your user id has been blocked,
- Contact your administrator (for users created by PIA administrator) to unblock.
- If administrator id has been blocked, the PIA administrator needs to raise request using ticketing system (HSDM-SSP) and the password will be reset by the super user.
Help Desk Support
- The helpdesk support (HSDM-SSP) and helpdesk[at]ruralskills[dot] in is only for the resolution of issue(s) faced while using HSDM
- DO NOT USE the HSDM-SSP and helpdesk[at]ruralskills[dot]in for issues related to PRN (issue of PRN, change in PRN Data like change in head office address, authorized signatory, change in members, change in contact numbers etc) or your queries related DDU-GKY Policy. For resolution of queries related to PRN and/ or DDU-GKY Policy, contact through the notified email address.

Using the helpdesk
- Click on the HSDM-SSP icon (below login tab on right top corner of the window)
- You will be directed to new tab/ window
- Login with your PRN as user id. User id is case sensitive and should be in lower case. For example, if your PRN is AB2012RT9089, the user id will be ab2012rt9089
- Use default password for log-in (already communicated to you or else contact support).
- Once logged in, you will be required to change the password
- Before you log your issue, select the options correctly so that your issue can be identified and cause can be addressed

If you are not able to process your request through HSDM-SSP, mail at helpdesk[at]ruralskills[dot]in clearly mentioning the following
- Clarify whether you are able to login using HSDM-SSP first clearly defining the issue faced while logging into HSDM-SSP.
- Give your identification – PRN Number
- Identify the process group, module in the process group, section in the module and specific nature of the issue faced by you.
- Attach the screen shot of the instance when you faced the issue.
CNN PRE-REQUISITES
- THE PROCESS starts after SRLM has created a project and approved.

The user should go through the following documents
- Notification 25/2016 issued by MoRD
- Schedule II: General Classification of trades as per cost category prescribed
- Schedule III: categorization of cities for the purpose of estimating boarding and lodging expenses
- For reference to cost categories to specific trades - List of Trades with CostCategory Prescribed in Schedule II

The user should understand the following major changes included on account of CNN alignment before proceeding with the alignment process:
- The alignment is w.r.t. to training target and other physical parameters within the sanctioned cost of the project.
- Placement target reduced to 70% from initial 75%
- Minimum project duration has been fixed at 36 months, implying that all projects less than 36 months are automatically extended for 36 months. Those with 36 months and above sanctioned project period have been retained as it is.
- Change in cost of training which is now based on category of trades (trades have been grouped into 3 categories) (Refer to Schedule II)
- Assessment cost is payable separately being 1500/- per trainee or actual cost incurred, whichever is lower.
- The fixed duration training hours of 576/1152/1728/2304 has been done away with. That means total training duration can be any number of hours which is more than 576.
- Training Duration has been fixed at minimum of 576 hours (which includes all components – Trade specific training, Soft Skills, English Skills, IT Skills and OJT) but NO UPPER LIMIT to total duration of training (FLEXI HOURS ADOPTED).

The Total training duration has following restrictions
- Trade Specific training duration can not be less than the training hours defined in MES curricula and at least 50 hours in case of SSC trades.
- Soft Skills/ English Skills/ IT Skills can not be less than 20/60/80 hours, respectively.
- OJT hours can not be more than 1/3 of Total Training Duration
- Boarding and lodging expenses are now payable based on 4 categories of cities/ towns/ municipal limits (refer to Schedule III)
- One-Time travel cost is allowed for all type of training and to be utilized as per the provisions of SOP.
- Additional incentives have been provided for Placement over and above 70% of the training target. For achievement above 70% up to 85% of training target @ Rs. 3000/- per trainee placed and above 85% @ Rs. 5000/- per trainee placed.
- Additional incentives for tracking has been provided as welfare cost
Project Setup PRE-REQUISITES
- The Setting up of a project is a TWO step process.
- FIRST Step is creation of the Project OR editing of the existing projects (projects that were already created), the user is called "maker".
- SECOND Step is approval of the project that was submitted, either new project or after editing of existing projects, the user is called "checker" or "approver".
