The user data resides safely in the HSDM Portal database and is protected by a firewall. The firewall is configured to receive and process requests only from authorized personnel. Further, some of the highly critical information such as the user password, bank details, etc are stored in the database in a encrypted format, thereby preventing any misuse of data. We take regular back-ups of the user data so that appropriate recovery measures can be initiated of the latest information if there are any data loss problems.
